What is electrostatic painting?
The element to be painted receives a negative charge by means of a regular cable, and the paint is sprayed by a special gun with a rotating bell that transmits a positive charge. The opposite charges attract so strongly that the paint wraps around the object and completely covers the surface, which also means very little paint is lost to overspray.
