FAQs
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. King Moving & Delivery is a licensed and insured Florida mover carrying Fla. Mover Reg. IM2434 (FDACS), Broward County Lic. MV-745 and US DOT 2574898. A Certificate of Insurance is provided for buildings that require one.
How is a move priced?
Every move is priced for the job rather than a one-size number. You choose a flat rate or an hourly rate and the team tells you honestly which one costs you less. Fill out the quote form and a specialist calls you back with a real price, with no hidden fees.
How far in advance should I book?
Two to four weeks ahead is ideal, especially around the start and end of the month. Same-week is often possible, and for labor-only and delivery jobs same-day is sometimes possible.
What areas do you serve?
King Moving & Delivery is based in Hollywood at 5758 Johnson St and works across Broward and Miami-Dade, including Fort Lauderdale, Miami Beach, Pembroke Pines, Aventura, Weston, Davie and Coral Springs, plus Palm Beach County.
Do you provide boxes and packing materials?
Yes. Boxes in every size, bubble wrap, packing paper, tape, moving blankets and mattress bags are available, delivered with your move or picked up from the company. Crews can also pack a few rooms or a whole home.
Do you move pianos, safes and heavy items?
Yes. Pianos, safes, marble and antiques are part of the job for these crews, handled with the right equipment, padding and floor protection. Mention heavy or fragile items on the quote form so the right crew is planned.
Do you handle commercial and office moves?
Yes. Office and retail relocations include a Certificate of Insurance, evening and weekend crews so the business does not lose a day, and IT and equipment handling.
Do you do junk removal?
Yes. Furniture and appliance removal, garage, attic and storage clear-outs, estate and foreclosure cleanouts and post-renovation debris are all handled, priced by volume rather than by the hour.
