Work covers local moves up to 50 miles priced by the hour, intrastate moves within Florida with straight or next day delivery, and interstate relocations nationwide, along with residential and apartment moving, office, retail, corporate and industrial relocations, employee relocation, full and partial packing, custom crating for specialty items, and storage. Crews load either a 16 foot box truck with a ramp or a 26 foot box truck with a liftgate depending on the size of the job, and semi trucks handle cross country work. Moving pads, tapes, and furniture disassembly and reassembly are included in every move at no extra cost, and storage is free for up to 7 days. Estimates are always free, in person or over the phone, and free in-home estimates can be booked for larger or more complicated jobs. Easy Florida Moving carries automotive, cargo, and general liability coverage, holds US DOT 3064335 and MC 057089 operating authority, and issues a Certificate of Insurance to your building at no charge once the contract is signed.

No. Easy Florida Moving is an independently owned moving company with its own trucks, equipment, and employees. Keeping everything in house is what lets the office take full control of a move and resolve any issue quickly.

How much does a local move cost?
Local moves up to 50 miles are priced hourly, with a minimum of 3 hours of labor plus 1 hour of travel time to and from your place on a 2 man job. Two movers with a 16 foot truck are $500 for the first 3 hours and $125 per hour after that, three movers with a 26 foot truck are $680 then $170 per hour, and four movers with a 26 foot truck are $860 then $215 per hour. The final figure depends on the amount of items, the packing materials needed, and conditions such as stairs, elevators, and long carries.
Do I need an in-home estimate?
You need one if you are moving long distance from a home larger than one bedroom, you want the full packing service, you are moving locally from a three bedroom home or larger, or you are not sure a 26 foot truck can get close to your place. Otherwise an estimate over the phone is enough. In-home estimates are free and can be scheduled for the day and time that suits you.
How are my belongings covered while you move them?
Basic valuation coverage of $0.60 per pound per article is included free of charge, as the law requires. If you want your belongings covered at replacement value, the company has partnered with Baker International. Ask your representative in advance so there is time for the paperwork.
Do you provide boxes and pack for me?
Yes. The full packing service covers your whole home or just the parts you would rather not handle, and the trucks carry boxes in every size along with bubble wrap, plastic, and white paper. Solid furniture is wrapped in heavy duty moving blankets at no extra cost, while specialty packing materials for fragile items are charged separately. Ask a moving specialist about pricing.
What forms of payment do you accept, and is a deposit required?
Easy Florida Moving accepts all major credit and debit cards, with a 3% processing fee, plus Zelle, cash, cashier's checks, and money orders. Personal checks and other transfers cannot be accepted. Local jobs take a deposit of 20% of the job total or at least $160, and long distance moves take a deposit of up to 20% of the moving estimate.
