FAQs
How do I get an estimate for my move?
Call the Gainesville office and the team will discuss your upcoming move and provide a free estimate on services. Having details ready about your home size, the distance, and any large or awkward items helps make the estimate more accurate.
Do you handle long-distance moves or only local ones?
Both. Local moving is what the brand started with, and the Gainesville location also handles long-distance relocations, keeping your items safe and secure along the way with the same customer service the reputation was built on.
Who will actually be moving my belongings?
The moving professionals are personally screened and trained by the Gainesville staff. Each member undergoes national background checks and drug screenings, and the office states that it does not employ temporary or day laborers.
Can you pack for me, or do I need to pack myself?
Either works. The location offers a variety of packing services, from just a few items through to an entire home or business. If you prefer to do it yourself, the office carries the moving boxes and packing supplies you will need.
Do you move office and commercial spaces?
Yes. Business moving is one of the services offered, and the office provides flexible scheduling that includes evenings and weekends so workplace disruption stays as small as possible.
Are there items your movers will not transport?
Yes. The company does not move flammable, explosive or corrosive items, other hazardous materials such as fertilizer, fire extinguishers, batteries, household cleaners and propane tanks, and it does not transport plants, animals, perishable food or prescription drugs. Contact the local office for the complete list.
Can you help if I just need furniture moved inside my home?
Yes. Furniture rearranging is offered for staging a home or reorganizing rooms, and the movers are trained to handle large or bulky pieces such as gun safes, refrigerators and oversized furniture.
When is the office open?
The Gainesville office is open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM and on Saturday from 8 AM to 12 PM. It is closed on Sunday.
