LIBERTYAIR services and installs nearly every brand of air conditioning and heating equipment, even a unit another company originally installed, and works with all major manufacturers including Trane, Goodman, Amana and York and their warranty departments. FAQs
How long has LIBERTYAIR been in business?
LIBERTYAIR was established in Gainesville in 2007 by Philip Ferrara, who has over 16 years of experience working as an AC technician for various manufacturers. Between his expertise and the other HVAC technicians, the team has over 65 years of combined air conditioning and heating service and installation experience.
Do you provide free estimates?
Yes, free estimates are provided on new system installations only. LIBERTYAIR will also provide a free second opinion if you have received a quote from another company.
How much do you charge for a service call?
The charge is $95.00 for a split-system diagnostic and $150.00 for a ductless system diagnostic to determine what, if anything, is wrong with your system. If something is wrong you are told the problem and the price to remedy it, and parts are charged separately because they are not included in the diagnostic fees.
What warranties do you offer?
New equipment comes with a standard 10-year manufacturer warranty. LIBERTYAIR offers an additional one-year guarantee and warranties all smaller parts and labor for one year following installation.
Do you charge overtime rates?
No. LIBERTYAIR does not charge overtime. Systems often fail after customers return home from work or on a weekend, and the company chooses not to penalize customers for calling at those times.
What manufacturers do you work with?
LIBERTYAIR works with all major manufacturers, including Trane, Goodman, Amana and York, and with their warranty departments. The company services and installs nearly every brand of air conditioning and heating equipment, even if another company originally installed and serviced it.
What types of payment do you accept?
Payment is accepted by cash, check, debit, Visa and MasterCard. Special financing is also available with approved credit on major repairs and new installations.
How often should my system be maintained?
LIBERTYAIR recommends planned maintenance twice a year, one visit for the cooling components of the system and another for the heating components. Tune-ups for one household unit are $107 for once a year service and $207 for twice a year service for customers who do not have an Energy Savings Agreement.
