The business is now in its third generation of the Lester family and specializes in residential overhead garage doors and garage door opener systems for Alachua County. Work includes torsion spring repair, garage door and opener repair, new door installation in the Regal, Vantage and Village collections that are Florida approved, professional Genie opener installation, remote programming help and a yearly preventive maintenance program. Technicians are trained and experienced, several with over 30 years on the job and more than 150 years of combined experience across the staff, and every employee passes a background check and a drug test. Yes. The yearly maintenance program includes an annual appointment reminder, lubrication, door alignment, bolt tightening, safety function and moving part checks, remote, keypad and wall button checks, and an inspection for worn parts with a quote for any recommended work.

Torsion spring replacement is one of the most common overhead door repairs. Lester's technicians carry the correct tools and are able to safely replace garage door springs in less than an hour. Because torsion springs are under great tension, this is not a do-it-yourself repair.
