Faas graduated from Northwestern Chiropractic College in 1981 and established the practice in 1983, and after four years of postgraduate training he was awarded a Diplomate in Chiropractic Orthopedics in 1993. What happens on my first visit?
You can download the new patient forms from the practice website before your appointment to save time. At the office you receive a thorough chiropractic examination from Dr. Michael A. Faas, the senior clinic director. This first examination is usually the longest and most detailed exam, and it helps determine the nature and severity of your condition. If the exam findings indicate you are a candidate for chiropractic care, everything possible will be done to initiate treatment on that visit.
What insurance do you accept?
The practice is in network with many insurance plans, including but not limited to Medicare, Auto Injury, Florida Blue State and Federal, United Health Care, and Worker's Comp. Contact the office to find out whether your plan is covered. Staff will attempt to verify your coverage, though verification is not a guarantee of payment.
What if my insurance does not cover my care?
If your insurance does not cover a service or your benefits have become maxed out, the clinic offers affordable time of service fees through ChiroHealth USA. Payment is required at the time services are rendered, and the office accepts cash, check with valid ID, debit card, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.
Can I book a massage without chiropractic care?
You can, but because this is a medical facility, all massage patients must first be seen for a brief exam by one of the physicians before receiving the prescription for massage therapy. That applies whether or not you decide to use chiropractic care at the office.
