FAQs

Where is Back in Balance Chiropractic located?
The office is at 507 NW 60th Street, Suite A, Gainesville, FL 32607. You can call or text the office at (352) 271-1211.
What happens at a first visit?
The first appointment centers on a new patient exam and the chance to express your concerns and medical history with the doctor. Depending on the exam and the findings you may or may not have an adjustment at that visit, and afterwards the doctor creates a plan of care covering how many visits you may need and what your treatment goals are.
What therapies does the practice offer besides adjustments?
The office practices Active Release Technique, Applied Kinesiology, BioScan SRT, Methylation, Neuro-Emotional Technique, the Hypothalamus Reset Technique, myofascial release, frequency specific microcurrent, the Webster Technique, and nutrition and supplement support.
Do you treat children and pregnant patients?
Yes. The doctors are experienced and trained in providing chiropractic care from pregnancy through late adulthood, and the practice uses the Webster Technique, a chiropractic sacral analysis and adjustment used in the care of pregnant patients.
How do payments and insurance work?
There are options for insurance, auto benefits and self-pay. Back in Balance is a non-participating provider with Medicare, so you are responsible for the total cost of each visit and the office sends the claims to Medicare for your reimbursement. If the practice is out of network with your policy it can bill your claims as a courtesy, with you responsible for the full cost of services at each visit. Self-pay patients receive a 20% Paperwork Reduction discount when they sign the related policy.
I was in a car accident. Can you help?
Yes. You have the option to bill your auto insurance using PIP, personal injury protection. In Florida you have 14 days following the date of loss to seek treatment using your auto insurance, and the office can work with your attorney if one is representing you.
What does a BioScan cost?
The standard BioScan is $62 and includes 100 different body parts, 47 allergen groups and 24 meridians, along with laser treatment of the imbalanced items found in the scan. The Extended BioScan is $94 and adds Bach flowers, heavy metals, mycotoxins and microorganisms.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book through the online scheduler on the practice website, or text or call the office at (352) 271-1211 to set up your first visit.
