Bofshever Chiropractic Center is the Coral Springs practice of Dr. Gary Bofshever, who opened it in 1991 and has operated it ever since. Dr. Bofshever grew up in Coral Springs, earned a Microbiology degree at the University of Florida in 1986 on a baseball scholarship, and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University of Chiropractic in Georgia in 1990. He began practicing in his hometown and served as the team chiropractor for Coral Springs, Taravella and Marjory Stoneman Douglas High Schools, and he has performed over 500,000 adjustments with a major emphasis on spinal biomechanics and sports injuries. The office at 5850 Coral Ridge Drive offers a range of treatment options designed to reduce pain and restore full functional body movement: adjustments using a diversified technique, pediatric care with gentle techniques, biomechanical and functional restoration, therapeutic modalities such as electrical muscle stimulation, ultrasound, heat and cryotherapy, roller massage with G-5 units, massage chairs, spinalator tables and vibration plates, and inversion traction. After more than 25 years of a high capacity practice, Dr. Bofshever introduced a membership and concierge style of care. Patients pay an annual membership fee and then receive care without the burden of payment from visit to visit, with no insurance billing and no co-payment collected at each visit after the first one.
