Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Your Hometown Mover is fully licensed and insured, carrying USDOT 2789843, MC 045842, and NYDOT 39744, and regulated by the FMCSA. We carry basic liability coverage on every move, and you may upgrade to comprehensive coverage if you wish.
Do you offer a price match?
Yes. We offer a Price Match Guarantee on our moving services. If you receive a legitimate quote from a reputable competitor for the same scope of work, we will match or beat that price based on an apples-to-apples comparison.
What deposit is required to book a move?
We only require a $49 fully refundable deposit to secure your move date. The low deposit locks in your reservation, and if your plans change the deposit is returned to you.
Do you offer storage and packing?
Yes. We offer storage and warehousing, self-storage, portable storage, and record storage if your new home is not ready. We also provide professional packing using premium materials like moving blankets and shrink wrap, which can be added to any move.
