Power Chiropractic is a chiropractic office on S Olive Ave in West Palm Beach, led by Dr. Jose L. Llorens, who graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College of Kansas City, MO in 1995. The practice is built on the idea that no one deserves to live in pain, and the team works to find where a problem lies rather than covering it up with medication. Dr. Llorens describes himself as a Full Body Chiropractor: alongside care of the spine he has extensive advanced training in hand and foot conditions, taken from Chiropractic Hand and Foot Clinics of America, and he also treats TMJ disorders, shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees. He has completed over 200 hours of post-doctoral education in the treatment and management of the traumatically injured patient, covering spinal biomechanical engineering, triaging the trauma patient, MRI interpretation and protocols, MRI spinal and disc pathology, neurodiagnostic imaging protocol and pathology, accident reconstruction, and documentation and reporting for the trauma victim. Over the years he has worked with equestrian Olympians, Major League Baseball players, National Football League players, CrossFit athletes and competitors, players from the 2007-08 Wellington High School state champion women's soccer team, and many locals across West Palm Beach and the Wellington and Loxahatchee area. Services run well past the adjustment itself and include spinal decompression on a traction table, interferential electrical stimulation, massage therapy, chiropractic x-rays, physical therapy rehabilitation, corrective exercises patients can do at home, and wellness care. Conditions the office works with include neck pain, back pain, shoulder pain, hip pain, and knee pain, along with injuries from auto accidents, sports, and work-related incidents. Patients are greeted by the front desk staff, and the office is kept calm, clean, and relaxing.
