St. Lucie Chiropractic Clinic is a Port St. Lucie chiropractic practice on East Prima Vista Boulevard, operated by Health And Abundance Inc and led by Dr. Danielle Cossin. What sets the clinic apart is stated plainly on its own website: you will not get cracked. Instead of manual twisting and popping, the practice exclusively uses the Pro-Adjuster Instrument for every spinal analysis and adjustment, a computer-assisted technique driven by a sophisticated software package that pinpoints and treats spinal segmental dysfunction and fixations with precision. Percussive impulses replace the traditional manual adjustment, which the clinic describes as gentle, non-invasive, consistent and reproducible, and well suited to an aging population that wants a lighter touch. The website frames this ultra-gentle, instrument-assisted style as pain relief designed for mature bodies, applied to arthritis and joint stiffness, lower back and neck pain, sciatica, and balance and flexibility. Dr. Cossin graduated from Life University in Marietta, Georgia in 1999 with a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Bachelors in Nutrition, and has been practicing for 19 years in Port St. Lucie. She trained at one of the most successful personal injury chiropractic practices in the area, and she is currently the only chiropractor at the facility, supported by a friendly and knowledgeable staff. A native Floridian raised in the Martin and St. Lucie county areas, she taught herself Spanish so she could help non English speakers with their neck pain and back pain. Auto accident recovery is a core focus. The clinic builds personalized recovery plans from scientific and measurable data to address misalignments, pinched nerves and torn muscle tissue, stresses that early intervention prevents improper healing, and collaborates with a network of local legal professionals while emphasizing your right to choose your own doctor. Diagnostics run deep for a chiropractic office: digital X-rays, motion X-ray studies, temperature gradient nerve testing, plethysmography, range of motion measurement, pinch and grip strength testing, and impairment or disability evaluation and report. Therapies on site include Erchonia cold laser, Siemens Ultrathem diathermy, interferential, galvanic and TENS electrical stimulation, Triton cervical and lumbar traction, thermal and mechanical ultrasound, vaso-compression therapy, and a brief G-5 massage delivered with the General Physiology G5 Massager. The clinic publishes its self-pay pricing: $75.00 for the initial visit covering a comprehensive exam, adjustment, doctor-prescribed therapy and a brief G-5 massage, with digital X-rays available for an additional $75.00, follow-up visits at $50.00 per session and additional therapeutic modalities at $25.00 each. Most major insurance plans are accepted, and the office will run your insurance details and call you back with copays, deductibles and coverage. Flexible payment options are offered. The clinic adjusts patients over the age of 5, provides care during pregnancy, and performs school sports physicals but not school attendance physicals. The office is closed from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm for lunch.
