Can I get a same-day appointment?
Yes. Elite Dental Wellness offers same-day dental appointments for both emergency and non-emergency patients. Call (713) 789-8680 to see what is open on the day you need.
What counts as a dental emergency?
The practice lists toothache, a knocked-out tooth, a lost filling, jaw pain, infection, an object stuck in the teeth and soft tissue injury as common emergencies. Treatment can include a dental filling, a root canal, a crown or an extraction after an exam and X-rays.
What are your hours?
The office is open Monday 9 AM to 7 PM, Tuesday through Thursday 9 AM to 5 PM, and Friday 9 AM to 3 PM. It is closed Saturday and Sunday.
Do you offer sedation for anxious patients?
Yes. Nitrous oxide, administered through a nasal mask, is offered for those with minor dental anxiety and children. Oral conscious sedation, a deeper form of sedation taken as an anti-anxiety pill, is available for patients with severe anxiety or special needs.
What insurance do you accept?
Accepted plans include Aetna, Delta Dental, United Concordia, Guardian, MetLife, GEHA, SunLife, Lincoln, Principal, Ameritas, DenteMax, AlwaysAssist, Unum, AlwaysCare and DentalSelect.
What if I do not have dental insurance?
Elite Dental Wellness offers an in-house benefit package starting at $299 a year with set in-house rates across diagnostics, cleanings, fillings, root canals, crowns, veneers, implants, extractions, dentures and partials, and orthodontics. Procedures not on the schedule get 15% off the usual and customary fee. The plan fee is non-refundable and it cannot be combined with another insurance plan.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. Proceed Finance offers flexible financing with fast and easy approval, low interest rates and payments, and CareCredit can create financing plans for dental needs including elective and cosmetic treatment.
How does the free virtual consult work?
It takes three steps. Use the practice app to take and upload a clear photo of your smile, write a message explaining what you would like to change, and Dr. Batiste sends you a personal video consult explaining possible treatments.
