Elevated Health Chiropractic is a family wellness practice in Aurora, Colorado that opened its doors in July 2019. Dr. Aaron Neuerburg chose the practice name in homage to the Mile-High city of Denver and to show that it is just the place to take your health to new heights. The office describes itself as unlike any other doctor's office you have been to before, a fun and lively place meant to be a bright spot in your day. Dr. Aaron's stated aim is to improve nervous system function, which the practice calls the most critical system in the body because it controls every organ, cell and tissue. Care begins with a first visit of about 30 to 45 minutes that includes a comprehensive examination with orthopedic and physical testing, a type of therapy and a first chiropractic adjustment. A second visit of roughly 30 minutes covers the report of findings along with another therapy and adjustment, and regular follow-up visits run about 15 to 20 minutes, with the first 5 to 10 minutes for the adjustment and the remainder for therapy. Dr. Aaron primarily uses the Diversified Technique and prescribes home exercises drawn from Chiropractic BioPhysics to improve spinal curves, with a Flexion-Distraction Table and a Thompson Drop Table available in the office. Physiotherapy modalities offered alongside chiropractic include electrical muscle stimulation, stretching and strengthening exercises, traction, intersegmental traction, heat therapy and a wobble chair, and the practice states you do not have to be a chiropractic patient to receive physiotherapy. The office also provides dry needling, a technique using a sterile, single-use fine needle to interrupt myofascial dysfunction, used for joint dysfunction, disc compression, tendinitis, migraine and tension-type headaches, sports injuries, muscle pain and fibromyalgia. Pediatric care is a particular focus. Dr. Aaron especially enjoys seeing expecting moms, babies and children, checks a child's spine with a light touch, and performs adjustments with no thrust and no popping sounds. The practice states it will not require you to adhere to any extended care plans, so you choose whether to continue care. Dr. Aaron earned a Biology degree at St. Cloud State University and his Doctor of Chiropractic at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minnesota, is licensed in the state of Colorado, is certified in CPR, Rock Tape and Graston Technique, and is a member of the Colorado Chiropractic Association and the American Chiropractic Association. What happens on my first visit?
Your first visit takes about 30 to 45 minutes. It involves a comprehensive examination, including orthopedic and physical testing, and you will receive a type of therapy and your first chiropractic adjustment. You can then book a follow-up to go over the information collected from your examination. That second visit lasts about 30 minutes and covers the report of findings, another therapy and another adjustment. Regular visits after that run about 15 to 20 minutes, with the first 5 to 10 minutes for your adjustment and the rest for therapy.
Is there a new patient offer?
Yes. The practice advertises a new patient special of $29, which includes a consultation with Dr. Aaron, an examination and your first adjustment. Contact the office to take advantage of the offer.
Do you see babies and children?
Yes. Dr. Aaron particularly enjoys seeing babies and children and welcomes expecting moms as well. When checking a child's spine he uses a light touch to detect misalignments, and pediatric adjustments involve no thrust and no popping sounds. He gained his experience with young patients working in a high-volume clinic where many patients were families with babies and children.

The office is off E Iliff Avenue and sits in Building Two of the Aurora Park Plaza, which can be entered from either Salem Street or Revere Street. Take the stairs or elevator to the second floor and the office is the last door on the left in Suite 220. The practice says there should be plenty of parking, and the Iliff Light Rail Station and nearby bus routes serve the location.
