FAQs
What is included in your hourly rate?
The all-inclusive hourly rate covers 2 or more trained and vetted movers, a fully equipped moving truck and gas inside the free service area, loading and unloading, assembly and disassembly of standard furniture, wraps, pads and protection equipment, taxes and standard insurance, $2,000 in damage coverage, and an arrival window of 2 hours or less. Fuel surcharges and credit card fees are already accounted for.
What happens if my movers are late?
Einstein Moving Company commits to an arrival window of 2 hours or less. If the crew misses that window you get a discount that grows the longer you wait. The company calls this its On-Time Guarantee.
What does the $2,000 damage coverage include?
The $2,000 damage coverage applies to damage caused by the team on items they pack and transport in their own truck, at no extra cost on every move. Exceptions listed on the site include particle board furniture, owner-packed boxes, appliance disconnection and reconnection, attic items, and moves in PODs or rental trucks.
Do you require a deposit, and can I cancel?
No deposit is required to book, and cancellation is free. The company asks only that you give as much notice as you can.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit cards are accepted. Cash and checks are not accepted, though companies paying by check for an office move can contact the office ahead of time to confirm.
Do you move pianos, pool tables, or other heavy specialty items?
There are limits. The team cannot move items weighing more than 400 lbs with certain exceptions, does not move grand or baby grand pianos, and can move an upright piano only if it does not go up or down a stairwell. Pool tables are moved only when disassembled with the slates removed, and vehicle transport is not offered.
Do you handle long distance moves?
Yes, long distance moves are handled anywhere within Texas, such as Fort Worth to Houston. Any move outside your immediate metro area counts as long distance, and the company recommends booking at least 2 to 4 weeks out, especially during summer and end-of-month dates.
Are packing materials included?
Wraps, pads, and protection equipment are included at no extra cost. Boxes, wrapping paper, bubble wrap, and tape are available but charged for. If the crew does the packing, they bring the supplies on move day and you pay only for what was used. You may also use your own packing supplies as long as they are new or gently used.
