EcoLandscapes Design, LLC is a sustainable landscape design and installation company founded by Dan Cleary in 2006 to give Philadelphians a source for sustainable landscape design. The team specializes in gardens, meadowscapes, native plantings and unique hardscaping, and it is always herbicide and pesticide free. Designs incorporate native plants and edibles that provide homes for birds and butterflies while requiring fewer resources, and the company uses only organic products, sources the majority of its plants from local farms, and buys carbon offsets for its vehicles and machines. Work spans garden design and installation, patios, walkways and garden walls, and lawn replacement projects that turn unused turf into meadowscapes. EcoLandscapes is fully licensed and insured, offers a free garden consultation, and provides a 1 year warranty for all plants once a project is closed out.

Do you charge for a consultation?
No. EcoLandscapes offers a free garden consultation. The first step is to set up a time to meet and look at the property, where you walk the space with one of the design consultants and together outline the ideas and style you are after.
What areas do you serve?
EcoLandscapes serves the Philadelphia metro, including Ardmore, Chestnut Hill, West Chester, Havertown, Mount Airy and East Falls, Media, Haverford, Narberth, Wynnewood and Wayne.
Is there a minimum project size?
Yes. There is a $6k job size minimum, and projects generally range from $6k up to $150k. Within that range the team can work with your budget by adjusting the size of the gardens, the amount of hardscaping and the materials used.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. EcoLandscapes offers financing with monthly payment plans through Wisetack, and you can prequalify through Wisetack from the contact page.
Do you use chemicals on the landscape?
No. EcoLandscapes is always herbicide and pesticide free and uses only organic products. The sustainable designs are able to succeed year after year without spraying chemicals or relying on long term irrigation.
How long does it take to get a design?
After the on-site meeting, the team generally puts together a custom design with visualizations and pricing in 1 to 2 weeks. In most cases that includes a photoshop of your house, and 3-D models can be created if appropriate. Once you have seen the proposal, revisions are made until it is right.
Do you guarantee the plants you install?
Yes. After the project is finished and closed out, EcoLandscapes provides a 1 year warranty for all of its plants and remains available to answer any questions or concerns down the line.
