Downtown Dental Associates is a family-owned dental practice in the heart of downtown Portland, Oregon that has been serving Portland families since 1994. The practice is led by Dr. Jake Becker, DMD, owner and comprehensive dentist with nearly two decades of experience and advanced expertise in IV sedation, implant dentistry and hospital-based care, alongside Dr. Hailey Dodson, DMD, a general and cosmetic dentist trained at OHSU. Care covers preventive dentistry such as cleanings, exams, hygiene, oral cancer screenings, sealants, night guards and athletic mouth guards, restorative work including composite fillings, crowns, bridges, implants, dentures and inlays and onlays, cosmetic treatment such as teeth whitening, porcelain veneers, bonding and Botox, plus sedation dentistry, oral surgery, periodontics, TMJ/TMD treatment, orthodontics with SureSmile clear aligners and retainers, and children's dentistry. The office accepts new patients of all ages, offers same-day emergency appointments, and is located on the corner of SW 12th and Yamhill Street next to the MAX line with free, secure parking in its garage.

Are you accepting new patients?

What are your office hours?
The office is open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and early appointment hours are available to fit your schedule.
Do you offer emergency dental care?
Yes. The practice provides same-day emergency appointments for severe tooth pain, broken teeth, knocked-out teeth and other urgent dental issues. Call (503) 227-0958 right away if you have a dental emergency.
What dental insurance do you accept?
The office accepts most major dental insurance plans, including Delta Dental, Moda Health, Providence Health Plan, Kaiser Permanente, MetLife, Cigna and Aetna, and files most claims for you as a courtesy. Contact the office to verify your specific plan.
What if I do not have dental insurance?
Patients without insurance are welcome. The practice offers competitive fees for all services, flexible payment plans and CareCredit financing, and can provide a complete estimate before any treatment begins.
