Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
No. As long as the team has instructions for entering, you can leave everything to them, whether that means letting them in and heading out, staying home, or giving them a keypad or lockbox code. Dandelion does not keep keys on hand and can provide a lockbox for weekly or biweekly recurring clients. If staff cannot enter and cannot reach you, they leave after 15 minutes and the lockout policy applies.
How do I pay for my appointment?
Card information is collected at booking through Stripe, and the company cannot see your card details after you enter them. You can pay upfront or wait until after service and follow the payment link in the follow-up email that arrives 24 hours after your appointment. Outstanding balances are run on the card on file, usually within a couple of days of service. Cash and checks are no longer accepted as payment for service, though you may use them to tip.
What should I know before booking a move-out clean?
Move-out cleans cannot be self-booked, require a non-refundable deposit, and work best with a consultation or a specific list of tasks in priority order. Be completely moved out with repairs finished before the team arrives, run the oven self-clean cycle at least one day ahead if the oven interior is to be cleaned, and schedule carpet cleaners for after the clean. Dandelion does not clean carpets, windows, or exteriors.
