Cornerstone Chiropractic is a Greeley, Colorado chiropractic office established by Dr. Darin Busse in September 2001, and the practice has been in the same West 16th Street location ever since. Alongside safe and natural chiropractic adjustments, Dr. Busse uses electrotherapy, a variety of soft tissue techniques and rehabilitative exercises to aid recovery and stabilize a patient's condition, with digital X-ray on site so every case can be evaluated thoroughly. Techniques used at the office include Activator, Diversified, electric muscle stimulation, Sacro-Occipital Technique, myofascial release, trigger point, ultrasound, orthotics and extremity work. Dr. Busse earned additional credentialing as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner and a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner, which lets him look beyond the spine to find the root cause of a problem. Cornerstone Chiropractic is a family practice treating patients of every age, from a few days old to the oldest of seniors, and it is not a walk-in clinic, so visits are scheduled in advance.

Care for every age

Cornerstone Chiropractic is a family practice where patients from a few days old to the oldest of seniors receive Dr. Busse's safe and natural approach.

A thorough first visit

The first visit takes about one hour and covers paperwork, a consultation and a detailed chiropractic exam, with digital X-rays taken on site if Dr. Busse determines they are necessary. Most new patient forms can be downloaded from the website and filled out ahead of time.

A written report of findings

At the second visit Dr. Busse gives a written report of findings that explains what he found, how chiropractic can help, how long it will take and how much it will cost.

FAQs

How long has Cornerstone Chiropractic been in Greeley?
Dr. Darin Busse established Cornerstone Chiropractic in September 2001, and the office has been at the same location on West 16th Street ever since.
What happens on my first visit?
Please reserve about one hour. You will fill out paperwork, most of which can be downloaded from the website in advance. You will be given a tour of the office and shown a five minute patient orientation video, then Dr. Busse takes a detailed health history and performs a chiropractic exam, with digital X-rays taken on site if he determines they are necessary.
Will I be adjusted on my first visit?
Generally Dr. Busse does not adjust patients on the first visit so that he has time to study your condition and determine the best course of care. A patient's first chiropractic treatment most commonly occurs immediately following the report of findings at the second visit.
How long do regular appointments take?
The second visit, which includes the report of findings and typically the first adjustment, takes about 30 to 45 minutes. Subsequent visits take about 15 minutes.
What techniques and therapies does Dr. Busse use?
Techniques used at the office include Activator, Diversified technique, electric muscle stimulation, Sacro-Occipital Technique, myofascial release, trigger point, ultrasound, orthotics and extremity adjusting. Dr. Busse also uses electrotherapy and teaches simple rehabilitative exercises to do at home.
What conditions does Dr. Busse treat?
Chiropractic care is well known for treating headaches, back pain and neck pain. Dr. Busse has also treated conditions such as plantar fasciitis and carpal tunnel syndrome, and provided relief from knee pain, shoulder pain and hip discomfort.
Do you take walk-in patients?
No. Cornerstone Chiropractic does not, in general, accept walk-in patients and is not a walk-in clinic, because Dr. Busse spends about an hour with each patient during the initial consultation and exam.
What about my insurance?
If you have insurance, you may be asked to present your health insurance card so the office can verify your benefits and share that information with you.
