What is the difference between a car wash and detailing?
A standard wash removes loose dirt from outer surfaces. Detailing is a deep, meticulous cleaning, restoration, and protection process for both the interior and exterior of the vehicle.
What detailing packages do you offer?
There are three packages. Classic covers blowout, vacuum, wipe down, window cleaning, pre wash, hand wash, wheel cleaning, and trim restoration. Deluxe adds steam cleaning, UV protectant, clay bar treatment, and wax and seal. Premium adds shampooing and a wax and ceramic finish.
Can you remove scratches and swirl marks from my vehicle?
Light scratches and swirl marks in the clear coat can be removed or significantly improved. If a scratch cannot be felt with a fingernail it is usually removable through machine polishing. Deeper scratches that go through to primer or metal require body shop repair. Your paint is assessed on arrival and you are told exactly what is achievable before work starts.
What paint correction options are available?
Two polishing packages are offered. Single Step Correction is a single stage machine polish with up to 50 to 60 percent of defects removed. 2 Step Correction is a two stage machine polish with up to 70 to 90 percent of defects removed. Results vary based on the vehicle's current condition.
What is ceramic coating?
Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer applied by hand to the exterior of a vehicle. It chemically bonds with the factory paint or existing clear coat and creates a semi permanent, glass like layer of protection.
Do you charge extra for heavily soiled vehicles?
Yes. An additional charge of $50 per hour applies for excessive sand or pet hair.
