Splintered Forest Tree Services is a full service tree company with a Denver Metro office at 59 W Floyd Avenue, Suite 208 in Englewood, CO. The company was founded in 2004 by Brad Huddleston, a longtime Conifer resident who learned the importance of fire mitigation firsthand after losing his family home in the 2000 Hi Meadow Forest Fire. What started with one guy and a chainsaw has grown into a locally owned and operated company running an array of in-house, specialized equipment, including knuckle boom cranes and a masticator, alongside expert tree climbers. Services cover tree removal, tree trimming and pruning, stump grinding, storm damage cleanup, fire mitigation, defensible space inspections, plant health care, tree clearing planned around solar panel installations, and treatment programs for the Emerald Ash Borer and the Mountain Pine Beetle. Splintered Forest is licensed, insured, and an accredited company with the Tree Care Industry Association, an accreditation it has held since 2018 and which covers formal employee training, standards compliance, safety and quality, and workers compensation coverage. The company has ISA Certified Arborists on staff plus a Jefferson County approved forester, a Certified Tree Care Safety Professional, NCCCO certified crane operators, and crew members carrying OSHA 30-hour hazard recognition training, aerial rescue certification, commercial driver's licenses, and Heartsaver first aid CPR AED certification. Estimates are free and written, an estimator can assess a property without the homeowner present, and the company accepts cash, check, and all major credit and debit cards with no processing fees.
