Ascent Health Center
Ascent Health Center is a holistic chiropractic and wellness practice on South Pennsylvania Street in Englewood, CO. Dr. Julie A. Marchiol founded the center in 1998 and still leads it as owner. She is a Princeton University graduate who earned her chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College and went on to study at the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture and the International College of Applied Kinesiology. Dr. Bryan Miller, a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, works alongside her using Applied Kinesiology, activator methods, and neurology focused treatments, and nurse Janet Dichter brings seven years of experience in nutrition, fitness, and personalized care. The practice organizes care into four areas: structural health (chiropractic, acupuncture, Applied Kinesiology, CPK/BSI, and Quantum Neurology), functional medicine (weight loss, nutrition, digestive health, hormone and adrenal support, peptides, and specialty lab testing), emotional health (neurofeedback therapy, Neuro Emotional Technique, and ZYTO Balance), and nutritional care. The team treats the whole person rather than the symptoms alone, working from the belief that the body has an innate ability to heal itself.

Nurse Janet Dichter is a family nurse practitioner with seven years of experience focused on nutrition, fitness, and personalized care.
What is functional medicine?
The practice describes functional medicine as a personalized and integrative approach that identifies and addresses the root causes of disease. It treats the body as a whole system rather than a set of separate symptoms, and practitioners spend time on patient history and on how genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors interact to influence long term health.
What does structural care involve?
Structural health focuses on the body's structure, particularly the musculoskeletal system, and how it affects overall function. The goal is to identify and treat physical imbalances and dysfunctions that lead to pain, reduced mobility, and other health issues. Services include chiropractic, acupuncture, Applied Kinesiology, CPK/BSI, and Quantum Neurology.
What lab testing is available?
