Factory Trained Auto Repair is an auto repair shop at 8050 Chase Drive in Arvada, Colorado, and its own homepage headline describes it as Arvada's auto repair experts. The About page opens with the line Proudly Serving Our Community Since 2010 and tells the shop's story plainly: like many auto repair shops, it is a family-owned business, started with the knowledge gained working for Ford as a Master Certified Mechanic for 10 years. The founding idea was to provide that same quality of service in a much more customer-friendly atmosphere. It began as a two person operation working long hours out of a dedication to creating an honest auto repair shop, and the About page says that because of consistent and honest work it has grown into a seven bay shop with four mechanics. The site frames the difference between a small family-owned company and a large dealership as one of personal accountability: you know exactly who touches your vehicle, and there is no deferred responsibility. Because the shop also participates in local fundraisers, donations and local issues, the About page says it has for several years been given the Nextdoor Neighborhood Favorite award. The published services menu is broad. Standard Maintenance Services covers Factory Scheduled Maintenance, 30/60/90/120K Mile Services, Computer Diagnostics, Oil Changes, Tune Ups, Filter Replacements, Safety Inspections, Windshield Wiper Blades, Fluid Services, Trip Inspections, Maintenance Inspections, Check Engine Light Diagnostics and Repair, Brake Repair and Antilock Braking System (ABS) Repair, Shocks and Struts Repair, Chassis and Suspension Repair and Suspension and Steering Repair. A Transmission group covers repair, service and replacement along with driveline, axle, clutch, flywheel, driveshaft, U-joint and differential work. Engine Services runs from Engine Repair and Engine Replacement through cooling system, radiator, water pump, fuel injection, fuel system and ignition system work. Tire Services covers rotation, wheel alignment, air pressure checks and TPMS. There are also dedicated groups for Heating and Air Conditioner Repair, Auto Electrical Services, Exhaust Services including catalytic converter and exhaust manifold repair, Hybrid Services, and Fleet Services covering Fleet Accounts, Preventative Maintenance, Pre-Purchase Inspections and DOT Inspections. The services page lists the specific makes the shop specializes in servicing: Acura, Buick, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, GMC, Honda, Hyundai, Jeep, Kia, Lexus, Lincoln, Mazda, Mercury, Mitsubishi and Nissan. It adds that the shop also services some import vehicles and diesel engines, and the About page says it has great diesel mechanics and provides unparalleled support to fleet accounts. If you own one of the makes the shop specializes in, the site says you will be able to get specific parts faster and receive specialized treatment rather than generic service. On fleets, the services page explains that establishing a fleet repair account adds value and reduces cost compared with creating individual accounts for each vehicle, and that fleet accounts are prioritized so an entire fleet comes back as soon as possible without getting locked up between other customers. For convenience beyond normal business hours, the shop offers after-hours drop-off and pick-up so servicing a vehicle does not interfere with a daily schedule. On the question of standing behind the work, the services page states that the shop provides a 12-month/12,000-mile warranty. The site returns repeatedly to honesty as its selling point, promising transparency about what it provides and honest, transparent answers regarding prices and services. Factory Trained Auto Repair is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM and is closed Saturday and Sunday. The shop can be reached at 303-650-2257.
