Concrete contractorSalinas, CA
Salinas Concrete Company provides concrete contracting services to homeowners and businesses throughout Salinas, CA and the surrounding Salinas Valley communities. Our team handles a wide range of concrete work, from small repair jobs to full property installations, and we take pride in delivering clean, durable results that hold up against the local climate and soil conditions common to the Central Coast. Our services include concrete driveway installation and replacement, giving homes and commercial properties a solid, attractive entryway that is built to last. We also install and repair curbs for residential streets, parking areas, and commercial developments, ensuring proper drainage and long-term structural integrity. For properties looking to upgrade their outdoor spaces, we offer stamped concrete and decorative concrete finishes that mimic the look of stone, brick, or tile while maintaining the strength and low maintenance of concrete. When existing concrete surfaces show signs of wear, cracking, or settling, our concrete repair services address the problem at its source, restoring safety and appearance without the cost of full replacement. In cases where a surface is still structurally sound but showing its age, we provide resurfacing solutions that give patios, walkways, and driveways a fresh, renewed appearance. We also handle general concrete flatwork, including patios, walkways, sidewalks, and slabs for both residential and commercial projects. Whether you are planning a new construction project or need to update an existing concrete surface, our team works closely with property owners throughout Salinas to understand the scope of the job and deliver practical, long-lasting solutions. Salinas Concrete Company serves residents and business owners across Salinas and nearby areas, bringing attention to detail and a straightforward approach to every project. From driveways and curbs to decorative finishes and repair work, we aim to make the concrete process simple and the results dependable for our neighbors in the Salinas Valley.

FAQs

What areas do you serve?
We work out of Salinas and cover Old Town, Alisal, Creekbridge, Harden Ranch, Santa Rita, Monte Bella, Boronda, Natividad and Spreckels, plus Chualar, Gonzales, Soledad, Prunedale, Castroville, Marina, Seaside, Toro Park, Corral de Tierra, Royal Oaks and Las Lomas.
What does concrete work cost around Salinas?
Four things move the price: square footage, slab thickness, what's underneath, and how hard it is to get a truck to the pour. A concrete driveway typically runs between roughly $2,650 and $4,700. Tearing out an old slab or pumping into a tight yard adds to that. Call and we'll walk the site before quoting.
When can I walk, park or drive on new concrete?
Foot traffic after about 24 to 48 hours, a car after 7 days, and loaded trucks after 28 days when the slab has reached full strength. Concrete keeps gaining strength that whole month, so we wet cure or use a curing compound on dry windy days to keep the top from setting faster than the bottom.
Should I repair my slab or replace it?
Repair if the slab still sits flat and the cracks are hairline. Replace it if a corner has dropped, the surface is spalling in patches, or the subgrade washed out after a wet winter. Patching a slab that is moving just gives you a patch that moves.
Will it crack?
Every slab cracks somewhere eventually, so our job is deciding where. We saw cut control joints within about 12 hours of the pour at a quarter of the slab depth. A tight line in a joint is the system working. A random crack across the middle is not, and if that one is on us, we come back.
Can you work nights or weekends so we stay open?
Yes, and for most commercial jobs that is how we plan it from the start. We stage the work in sections so you keep trading, and we give you the sequence in writing before anything gets broken out.
Do you handle ADA ramps and truncated domes?
Yes. The measurements are not negotiable, so we build to them and check the slope rather than eyeballing it. Getting a ramp wrong means doing it twice, so we measure it right the first time.
How do we get started?
Call us at (831) 539-2803 or email info@salinasconcretecompany.com and we'll walk the site with you, measure, and talk through subgrade, thickness and whether concrete sealing makes sense once it cures.
