What areas do you serve?
We serve all of Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs, including Montgomery, Bucks, and Delaware Counties. We also handle moves to and from major East Coast cities such as New York, Washington D.C., and Boston.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. BR Moving provides free, no-obligation estimates. After reviewing your inventory and requirements, we can offer accurate pricing so you know exactly what to expect on moving day. Free in-home estimates are available for larger jobs.
How is pricing calculated for a local move?
We charge an hourly rate for all local moves, and there is a two hour minimum charge for every move. All time after the minimum is pro-rated in quarter hour increments. Your hourly rate varies depending on the job, how many movers are assigned, and how many trucks are needed, so call the office for a customized quote.
What is included in your moving service?
Our moving and storage services include loading, transportation, unloading, packing, storage, and furniture assembly, customized to your needs. Quotes are all-inclusive and cover travel time, mileage, trucks, crew, blankets, and tools.
Do you offer storage options?
Yes. We provide secure short-term and long-term storage solutions for customers who need extra space during their move.
Can you disassemble and reassemble my furniture?
Yes. We can disassemble furniture such as beds, tables, and desks in order to remove them from your current house or apartment, and we reassemble anything we have taken apart at your new place. The one exception is cribs, which we do not disassemble or reassemble.
Do you handle last-minute or same-day moves?
Yes. BR Moving specializes in last-minute and same-day relocations. Even if you are short on time or have not packed yet, our last-minute movers in Philadelphia can step in quickly and organize the process.
How far in advance should I book my moving date?
We recommend booking your move at least 2 to 4 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date and time. During peak seasons or weekends, it is best to schedule even earlier to ensure availability.
