We worked with Scott, Sara, and Chris with BIC construction to make our basement everything we wanted it to be! Overall the experience was great and finished right on time even with a couple of surprises and holidays. The team is extremely honest, fare, and reasonable. They accidentally over quoted on one change order and corrected it after I had already paid. I’d recommend the BIC team to friends looking to have their basement finished.

Our experience with BIC was outstanding from the very beginning. Scott showed up and gave us a quote and floor plan by the end of the day. His pricing was great and came in under what others had quoted. His attention to detail, quick responses along with great referrals from neighbors made the decision a no brainer. The process went smoothly from start to finish and they finished right on time, with no hidden fees or additional costs just as they promised. Payment schedule was fair and they didn’t request any money until we had actually seen progress. Patrick, our PM was extremely kind, flexible, communicative, dependable and honest. He worked hard for us to deliver a basement that was both functional for our needs as well as beautiful. Chris worked hard on the finishes to make our space functional and beautiful. The entire staff was kind, dependable, helpful and efficient. They showed up on a timely basis and were courteous to not be disruptive to our daily routines. I highly recommend Scott and his team for any basement finish. We are extremely pleased with the entire process and couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful and functional space.

We had a great experience with BIC from start to finish. The owner provided multiple 3D CAD drawings so I could really visualize the space, making live changes while we discussed options for design and finishes. It helped me think outside the box of what I could do with the space, while staying on budget. I had four bids come in and BIC was perfectly in the middle. I chose them based on the owners design creativity. Chris was our project manager and had great communication throughout. He was very responsive to calls/texts, quickly answered questions when they came up, and was at the house nearly every day. We changed a few things during construction, so the team advised me of cost and how to make it work. I got to distress all the shelving boards myself for a great, rustic look. All of the workers were polite, cleaned area daily, on-time and easy to work with. We are thrilled with our basement and would absolutely work with BIC again.

We had an excellent experience working with BIC Construction to finish our basement. The layout is absolutely perfect—they truly made the best possible use of the space. From the very beginning, the team walked us through the entire design in detail, including outlet placement, light switches, door swings, and overall flow. Nothing felt rushed or overlooked. Scott, the owner, was fantastic with design guidance, communication, and timelines. Patrick was also great to work with and consistently clear and responsive throughout the process. Every contractor they brought in was high-quality and thorough. The painter and plumber were solid and detail-oriented, and the dry waller's & carpenter’s work were precise and clean. We live in a new construction home, and honestly, the quality of work in our basement is noticeably better than what was done upstairs by the original builder. It’s been about 18 months since the project was completed, and everything still looks and functions perfectly. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome and would highly recommend BIC Construction to anyone looking for top-notch workmanship and a smooth, well-communicated process.
