What are your office hours?
The office is open Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM. We are closed Saturday and Sunday.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes. We love meeting new patients, and our two Lakewood dentists are ready to welcome you. There is an online New Patient Questionnaire you can complete before your first visit to save time at the office.
Do you take dental insurance?
We do accept most insurances and will file claims on your behalf, so all you need to worry about is bringing your insurance card. If you do not have insurance, we still offer accessible and affordable dental care.
What payment options do you offer?
We accept cash and major credit cards, and our payment options include CareCredit. CareCredit lets you finance your dental care with no money down, no interest, no upfront costs, no annual fees and no pre-payment penalties, and it can be used by the whole family for ongoing treatment.
What should I expect at my first visit?
Each patient starts with a comprehensive exam consisting of a visual exam, charting, periodontal probing, panographic digital x-rays and an oral cancer screening. Dr. Collins will then spend time discussing your treatment options with you.
Can you help with a dental emergency?
Yes. Contact us right away for mouth injuries, toothaches, abscesses, broken or chipped teeth, loose teeth or bleeding gums, and we offer help even after hours or on weekends. We will review your symptoms over the phone and decide whether you should come in right away. For life-threatening injuries to the head or a severe tooth infection, please visit the emergency room.
What if I am anxious about dental treatment?
Sedation dentistry is available, and the office focuses on a calm atmosphere with in-office amenities and a gentle approach. Soft tissue laser treatment avoids heat and vibration in the mouth, which improves comfort during procedures such as periodontal therapy.
