How much do movers cost?
The published rate is $65 per hour per mover, so two men come to $130 per hour. On Sundays the rate is $75 per hour per mover, or $150 per hour for two men. On top of the hourly rate all services are charged either a onetime $100 truck fee, or a $30 travel fee if a truck is not needed. Shrink wrap, when it is needed, is $15 for a half roll.
What does the truck fee or travel fee cover?
The truck fee and the travel fee cover you within 15 minutes of the dispatch location, which means 15 minutes of free drive time going to the pickup and 15 minutes of free drive time heading back to the shop. How many movers will I need, and how long will my move take?

A heavy lifting fee applies to overly heavy items and averages $100 to $150 depending on stairs, long walks and the weight of the item, and in some cases it can be more.
