South Texas Chiropractic
South Texas Chiropractic is a family-owned, multigenerational practice that opened in San Antonio in 1989 with a mission to get people out of pain as quickly and conservatively as possible. Founder Dr. David A. Kling, D.C. and Dr. Austin Kling, D.C. treat headaches, neck and back pain, sciatica, carpal tunnel, auto injuries, and joint pain using chiropractic adjustments, spinal decompression, percussion massage, and radial pressure wave therapy. The office is also proud to offer the Ring Dinger® method of non-surgical manual spinal decompression, a drug-free technique used for herniated discs, stenosis, and pinched nerves. A stated no wait policy means patients are seen immediately, most health insurance is accepted with the office handling all of the paperwork, and flexible payment plans are available.

FAQs
What services does South Texas Chiropractic offer?
The practice offers chiropractic care and adjustments, spinal decompression including the Ring Dinger® method of non-surgical manual spinal decompression, percussion massage, and radial pressure wave therapy, also described as shock wave therapy or RPW. X-rays are taken when a condition calls for them.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. South Texas Chiropractic gladly accepts most health insurance and does all of the paperwork for you. Patients without insurance are offered affordable rates and flexible payment plans.
What happens at my first visit?
You start with brief paperwork, then a consultation with the doctor about your concerns and treatment options, followed by a history and examination with specialized tests. X-rays may be taken if your condition calls for them. Patients are generally given their first treatment during that same visit and leave with home instructions, and follow-up visits are usually scheduled within one to two days.
What is the Ring Dinger® technique?
The Ring Dinger® is an adjustment along the y-axis of the spine that carefully stretches the spine to relieve compression, used for pain from conditions such as stenosis, herniated discs, and pinched nerves. The treatments are completely drug-free and non-surgical. Dr. Austin Kling has been part of Team Ring Dinger® since 2020.
