Each system is custom designed around the property and installed to blend in with patios, fences, and landscaping. The company is a certified MistAway dealer and offers a choice of misting fluids, including organic oils, natural pyrethrum, and synthetic permethrin. Along with mosquitoes, the systems target biting flies, chiggers, spiders, fleas, wasps, deer ticks, and thrips. Ongoing care covers scheduled refills, full system inspections, winterization, and de-winterization.

What insects does the misting system target?
Along with mosquitoes, the system targets biting flies, chiggers, deer ticks, fleas, flies, spiders, thrips, and wasps. It covers most of the flying and biting insects commonly found in Texas backyards.
What spray is used in the system?
You can choose from organic oils, natural pyrethrum, or synthetic permethrin, calibrated to your setup. The organic oils commonly used include cedar, rosemary, lemongrass, cinnamon, and wintergreen oil.
How long does installation take?
Most systems are installed in one to two days, depending on the size of the property. Technicians install each system discreetly so it blends in with your patios, fences, and landscaping.
Do I have to operate the system manually?
No. The system is fully automated and you also receive a remote for manual use. You can upgrade to the iMist mobile app to trigger misting, monitor tank levels, and receive alerts from your phone.
Do you service systems you did not install?
Yes. Texas Mosquito Control services over 20 brands, including Mosquito Joe, MistAway, MosquitoNix, and Texan Mosquito Systems.
What happens when the tank runs out?
Refills are scheduled on a regular basis and usage patterns are monitored. If you use the iMist app, alerts can be set up as well. Each scheduled refill also includes a full inspection of the system.
Is there a warranty on the system?
Yes. Texas Mosquito Control stands behind the MistAway system with a warranty on all parts and labor for one full year.
