Terren Landscapes is a high-end landscape design, build and maintenance company headquartered in Conshohocken that serves the Main Line suburbs south and west of Philadelphia. Brothers Jim and John McCaughey started the company in 1983, and more than 40 years later the team handles landscape design and installation, full-service maintenance, turf care programs, hardscapes and masonry, outdoor lighting, outdoor kitchens, seasonal styling, and stormwater and drainage solutions for both residential and commercial properties. The company is fully licensed and insured, keeps a registered landscape architect on staff, and background-checks, drug-tests and insures every employee before hiring. Sustainability runs through the work as well, from native and pollinator friendly plantings and recycled topsoil to fully-electric Eco-crews that mow and maintain without gas-powered equipment.

Yes. Terren provides landscaping services for both residential and commercial properties, with experience designing, installing and maintaining landscapes for single-family homes, apartment complexes, office buildings and more.
Can you help with drainage and stormwater problems?
Yes. Stormwater management and drainage are a specialty, and projects are built so water is drained safely and functionally away from the home rather than simply hidden. Terren treats drainage work seriously because water damage can be catastrophic and dangerous.
Do you offer maintenance after an installation?
Yes. Terren offers a comprehensive landscape maintenance service to keep outdoor spaces looking their best year round, and recommends signing on for the full maintenance plan rather than maintaining only the newly installed area.
Do you offer low noise or low emission maintenance?
Yes. Fully-electric Eco-crews do their work without any gas-powered equipment, which greatly reduces noise and eliminates emissions. A robotic mower program also provides low noise, zero emission mowing.
Do you do snow plowing?
Terren offers snow plowing and salting services, but only to full-service maintenance customers.
