Wissahickon Chiropractic is the Philadelphia practice of Dr. Anthony Galzarano, who graduated Magna Cum Laude from Life Chiropractic College in 1981 and has run the practice in Philadelphia since 1994. The practice describes itself as a different kind of doctor's office, offering old fashioned, individualized care using state-of-the-art techniques in a comfortable home office setting. Alongside the adjustments and therapies you would expect from a chiropractic office, Dr. Galzarano focuses on Strong Posture, balance and movement for lasting relief and improved function, with stated benefits that include relief from chronic pain, improved athletic performance, injury prevention, fall prevention and fewer trips to the chiropractor. Adjusting approaches include StrongPosture, the Gonstead technique, the Diversified technique, the Arthrostim adjusting instrument and extremity adjusting, and Dr. Galzarano is a certified practitioner in both StrongPosture and extremity adjusting. In-office therapy modalities include electrical muscle stimulation, interferential current, ultrasound, a hydrotherapy table and spinal decompression traction, along with his static ultrasound trigger point treatment, a technique he has been refining for the past fifteen years. Visits are face-to-face with the doctor from the minute you walk in to the minute you leave, the new patient questionnaire is completed securely online before the first visit, and appointments are booked through an online scheduler that shows which days and times are open. Optional virtual Strong Posture corrective care sessions are also available.
