Preferred Automotive Specialists is a family-owned and operated full service automotive repair shop in the Oxford Circle section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, serving drivers for more than 30 years. The newly renovated facility holds 15 service bays with advanced diagnostic and repair equipment, and the shop works on all years, makes and models of foreign and domestic cars, vans, SUVs and trucks, along with hybrid, electric, diesel and CNG vehicles. Services include brake repair, oil changes, engine and transmission repair, AC and heating repair, wheel alignments, computerized drivability and electrical diagnostics, state and emission inspections, scheduled maintenance, bodywork and fleet service programs. Preferred Automotive Specialists is an ASE Blue Seal shop and a NAPA Gold Certified AutoCare Center, and its ASE certified technicians bring more than 230 years of combined experience and over 80 assorted ASE certifications. The shop offers free pick-up and delivery, free loaner vehicles with full maintenance services, and the NAPA AutoCare Peace of Mind Warranty at no extra charge on qualifying repairs.

What services do you offer?
We perform all facets of automotive maintenance and repair, minor and major, on foreign and domestic vehicles. That includes brake repair, oil changes, engine and transmission repair or replacement, AC and heating repair, wheel alignments, tire rotation, computerized drivability and electrical diagnostics, state and emission inspections, scheduled maintenance, bodywork and fleet services.
Where are you located and what are your hours?
We are at 6300 Oxford Avenue in Philadelphia, PA 19111, in the Oxford Circle section of Northeast Philadelphia. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and we are closed Sunday.
Are your technicians ASE certified?
Yes. Our technicians, shop manager and service personnel are ASE Master Certified or ASE Certified, and our General Manager is a degreed mechanical engineer. Our team has over 230 years of combined automotive experience and over 80 assorted ASE certifications, and we are an ASE Blue Seal shop.
Do you offer a warranty on repairs?
Yes. We offer the NAPA AutoCare Peace of Mind Warranty, included free with your repair or service work. It covers parts and labor on qualifying repairs and services for a minimum of 12 months or 12,000 miles and is honored nationwide by thousands of NAPA AutoCare Centers. Exclusions may apply.
Do you offer pick-up and delivery or a loaner car?
Yes. We provide free pick-up and delivery from and to your home or office, covering the 5-county Greater Philadelphia area of Bucks, Montgomery, Valley Forge, Chester and Delaware. Loaner cars are available for full maintenance services and are free as long as you get your repairs completed, with the exception of filling it up with gas.
Can you give me a repair estimate over the phone?
No. As a full service facility, it would be unfair to quote a price before we have had a chance to thoroughly look over your vehicle. That prevents misunderstandings and lets you be sure all of your concerns have been addressed and that the price you are quoted is a firm estimate.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards as well as cash. Aftermarket and private warranty coverage is accepted with the understanding that we must get the warranty company's approval before any work is started, and the customer is responsible for any non-covered work as well as any deductible.
What types of vehicles do you work on?
As a full service facility we work on all years, makes and models of foreign and domestic cars, vans, SUVs, trucks and all motor vehicles. We also work on ambulances and wheelchair accessible vehicles, hybrids, electric, diesel and CNG vehicles, and we replace engines, transmissions and other major components.
