Do you do Pennsylvania state inspections?
Yes. Don's is an official Pennsylvania inspection station, performing safety inspections (annual only) and emissions inspections. Vehicles are checked bumper to bumper following the standards set forth by the state, and safety inspections are done on all annually-inspected vehicles regardless of weight.
What happens if my vehicle needs work to pass inspection?
We tell you what repairs are required to pass and give you an estimate for the work. We also point out anything you should consider having done in the near future so you can budget accordingly, and we will not insist you spend money on repairs that can wait.
Do you work on trucks and fleet vehicles?
Yes. We service commercial, fleet, and personal vehicles, both domestic and foreign. That includes straight-bodies such as box, flat, dump, stake, and utility trucks, along with step vans, vending trucks, and most buses and RVs.
My check engine light is on. Can you find the problem?
Yes. Each indicator light on your dash can signal hundreds of trouble codes, and each code can have numerous causes, so we take the time to properly diagnose and pinpoint the problem rather than simply replace parts. Our approach is to test, not guess.
What is included in an oil change?
For cars and light-duty trucks, our oil change service includes checking all fluid levels and tire pressures plus a visual inspection of your tires, brakes, belts, and hoses. For trucks, we change all filters, check all fluid levels, and grease the chassis, then give the truck a once-over so it is ready to pass a random DOT inspection.
