City Dental is a dental practice in downtown Portland at 511 SW 10th Ave, owned by Dr. Rusty Crofts, DDS and staffed alongside Dr. Yu Han, DMD and four experienced hygienists. The practice serves patients of all ages and is accepting new patients, covering general dentistry such as teeth cleaning, root canals, tooth extractions and mouth guards, restorative work including CEREC same-day crowns, bridges, dentures and implant dentures, and cosmetic treatment including dental implants, Invisalign, veneers and teeth whitening. Same-day emergency appointments are offered for problems such as broken teeth, knocked-out teeth, severe tooth pain, lost fillings and dental infections. For anxious patients the office provides sedation dentistry with oral sedation and nitrous oxide, and it uses digital imaging, digital x-rays and digital impressions. Most major dental insurance plans are accepted, financing is available through CareCredit and Sunbit, and parking is validated at the Smart Park on 10th & Yamhill.

Are you accepting new patients?
Yes. City Dental accepts new patients and serves patients of all ages. New patients can get a thorough cleaning, exam and x-ray on the first visit for $99.
Do you see dental emergencies?
Yes. The practice offers same-day emergency appointments to help relieve pain and restore comfort, for broken, cracked or chipped teeth, knocked-out permanent teeth, severe tooth pain from decay, infection or abscess, lost fillings, damaged crowns, bleeding gums after trauma and jaw pain.

Can I be sedated if I am nervous about dental work?
Yes. The practice provides sedation dentistry for patients with a fear of dental procedures. Oral sedation is taken in pill form before your appointment and keeps you awake and responsive, and nitrous oxide is administered through a small mask worn over the nose for a mild level of sedation.
How long does a crown take?
City Dental offers CEREC same-day crowns as part of its restorative dentistry, along with dental bridges, dentures and implant dentures.
Who are the dentists?
Dr. Rusty Crofts, DDS is the owner of City Dental and completed a one-year General Practice Residency at the Portland VA Medical Center. Dr. Yu Han, DMD is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Clear Aligners, and focuses on preventive care, restorative procedures, aesthetic enhancements and Invisalign. They work with four experienced hygienists.
