We're Cascade Fence & Deck, a locally owned contractor based in Portland, Oregon, building outdoor living spaces for homeowners across the metro area since 1997. In 2023 the company was purchased by longtime employee and active general manager Leif Wirtanen, who continues to focus on a culture that attracts skilled craftspeople and value-driven customers.
We're a full-service company, which means we handle your project from start to finish. Our work includes custom deck design, permitting, and construction, along with fence installation covering privacy, vinyl, pool, and neighbor fences. We also install patio covers and pergolas, build custom saunas, install deck and glass railings, and handle residential and driveway gate installation. Whether you're starting from a blank backyard or replacing something that's worn out, we can help you design and build a space that holds up to Pacific Northwest weather and stays usable year-round.
We work with homeowners throughout the Portland Metro area, including the West Hills, Forest Park, Northeast Portland, and St. Johns. We're licensed under CCB # 150983, and every project is backed by our lifetime workmanship warranty, so as long as you live in your home, we stand behind our work.
If you love your home and want an outdoor space that reflects that, we'd like to help. Give us a call or reach out through our contact page to talk through your project, and we'll provide a clear quote after understanding what you have in mind.
