Very impressed with Portland Metro. Excellent craftsmanship and customer service. I needed to electrify my shed which involved adding a sub panel, running conduit, lights and several plugs. They responded to my request for estimate within 24 hours and were very helpful to work with me during the estimate to identify the optimal scope for my project. I received my quote within 12 hours of meeting the estimator. I got multiple bids for my project, PME offered to price match competitors to earn my business. The two man crew worked very fast to complete my project within about 5 hours. The inspector flagged one item during check in. PME called me to fix the flagged item same day. Very impressed with team and would recommend to anyone in need of electrician services.

a arrived on time ready to begin the first of 3 new outlets. Two involved added conduit inside my garage to make existing outlets more usable. The first was on the top of the back wall. For some reason the condo units were vented for central vacuuming in 2000 when the building was constructed. (If only they could have foreseen the future!) That one went along the back and side walls then dropped down. See photos. The next was close by, an existing GCFI outlet that he added conduit to in order to give me an additional outlet more easily accessible. See photo. The final one is for an upcoming project that requires an outlet higher up on the wall. See photo. ---------- The way this all worked was that the estimator, Daniel, came out, I showed him what I wanted done, he took a video of my proposal, showed it to Ilia and the rest is history. ----------- I would absolutely recommend Portland Metro Electric for future electrical work, big or small projects. Mine were all small and in the same area, but I'm confident they could easily perform much larger projects with the same level of expertise and professionalism. I had already purchased the LED fixture and Portland Metro supplied the dimmer switch. All went very smoothly!

Dan was very responsive and helpful from the moment I reached out, answered all my questions and provided great service with clear and honest communication and worked with me on pricing out our needs. On the day of the work, Yuriy was prompt, professional, and friendly, did very clean job installing our new panel and EV charger, and cleaned up after. (Just so readers know, I waited a full month before writing this, simply to make sure everything was working properly over time, and it is.) I was impressed by the work that Portland Metro Electric did. We needed a ceiling fan installed in a room that didn't have an overhead light. I always worry about inviting any vendor into my home because things often go wrong, as any homeowner will tell you. With Portland Metro Electric, though, it was the opposite. I would gladly have them back.

Terrific service all the way, from a competitive estimate to timely completion of our 240v sauna heater sub panel and circuit installation. Our electrician, Ilya, was easy to work with, highly professional and a creative problem solver. The workmanship was superb and his attention to finishing details is much appreciated.

I had a terrific experience with Portland Metro Electric from start to finish. I called to get a quote, sent a description of everything I wanted and got a full breakdown of how much every item costs (several outlets installed off of existing light switches and some switch/outlet replacements). The two young men were very professional, arrived on time, And had our electricity back up And running quicker than expected! After they were all done, they cleaned up everything and took the time to explain everything to us. Also helped us figure out exactly which circuits we needed if the power goes out, and we need to hook up the generator. They marked all the switches, telling us which ones worked throughout the house. I would hire them again without any hesitation!

I had them install a fan rated electrical box and they were very professional, prompt, and kind. Other companies wanted to play games and not give me a quote before coming out or wanted to charge money for a quote and have me wait at home for hours during a workday just to learn the price. Portland Metro Electric gave me a fair price over email, quickly scheduled me, and came out exactly on time and did a quality job. I will definitely be using them again.

I really like working with Portland Metro Electric. They did a thorough walkthrough to understand the job, including a service and panel upgrade, suggested good fixes for smaller repairs I needed, and completed the work in a really short period of time. This is the second time I've worked with them, and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again in the future.

I needed to install a generator transfer switch, and they were able to schedule an appointment for me on the same week and were willing to negotiate the price to fit my budget. The technician let me know when he was on the way, and he was communicative and respectful. He got the job done quickly and cleaned up after himself. I don't hire contractor for house project often, but I am glad I have a wonderful experience with them on my first time. Highly recommended.

This is the third project that I’ve had Portland Metro Electric do at my home. The projects ranged from a 2-hour task for one electrician to the recent one which was all day for 4 electricians. Each time they do good work with a pleasant attitude and reasonable pricing. I recommend them.

Portland Metro Electric was incredibly professional. They've been to my home 4 or 5 times in the past year to address many electrical issues identified in a home inspection, and then most recently to install new light fixtures, one into a 20 foot high ceiling - which required scaffolding and considerable precision. Each appointment they arrived on time with a smile and can do attitude, going above and beyond. Definitely recommend them!

Portland Metro Electric was absolutely fantastic! We needed outlets added in three bathrooms, and every other company we talked to said they’d have to cut into the drywall. Daniel, however, got it done perfectly without making a single cut. Impeccable service from Danny! I am blown away. He showed up and it started to snow heavily, despite the heavy snowfall, he remained committed to completing the 220v installation for my hot tub. He didn’t leave or take a lunch until the project was complete. He truly put his client before himself. His professionalism, punctuality, and meticulous attention to detail were truly exceptional. Tyler at Portland Metro Electric. He was methodical and thorough in diagnosing the cause of our issue (electrical outlet that wasn't receiving power). When we came to the conclusion that we had to run power to an unworking junction box, Tyler did a great job in carefully cutting into the drywall while creating as little dust as possible. Overall, great job and great service!

I've been in the trades for 20 years and to have an electrician that shows up when he says he's going to, does what he says he's going to do, and then cleans up after himself is very rare and a treat to work with. He does amazing work and is very good at explaining what needs to happen and why. I would recommend him to anybody, and we feel lucky that he had the time to change our panel for us!
