FAQs

What is the process like?
Once you have decided on the right Package for your landscape needs, you fill out the Customer Intake Form and remit payment for your project. Landstylist then follows up to schedule the first meeting and discuss the plans and recommendations, delivered as a PDF called Landstylist Notes.
What do the design packages cost?
The Virtual Consultation Package is $500, the 1-2 hour On-Site Consultation Package is $1000, and The Plan Package is $2,500.
Do you install the projects?
No. Landstylist is not a design-build firm and is focused solely on design. Based on your project type and scope of work, they can pair you with the contractor best suited to your specific project.
Are revisions included?
Revisions are not included with either package. Revisions are priced at $250 per iteration, with no more than two iterations, or $500, per plan.
How long does a package take?
Good design takes time, so allow 4 to 6 weeks for the production of your purchased Package. You should also account for orders of materials and plants well in advance of when they are wanted.
Do you work outside New York City?
The Virtual Consultation is described as suited to anyone who has an outdoor space anywhere in the United States. The On-Site Consultation covers the NYC area, including Brooklyn, Manhattan or The Hamptons.
Are the designs sustainable?
Landstylist states that gardens which are thoughtful and healthy for the environment can also be the most beautiful while requiring less work and investment, and that the goal is artful design at the intersection of each client's aesthetic, functional requirements, and budget while also being beneficial and restorative to the surrounding site and larger environment.
