Do you charge for a moving estimate?
If you are local, the in home estimate is free. A relocation specialist visits to survey everything you plan to move, reviews the plan with you, provides a verbal estimate, and then emails a more detailed copy.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Exela Movers is fully licensed and insured, and our interstate licenses are USDOT 2588687 and MC 907693. Basic state required coverage is $0.60 a pound, and our premium insurance costs $75 to cover $5,000 of depreciated value, with higher amounts available.
What happens if the movers show up late?
If Exela is over an hour late, your move is free. Time is money, so we hold ourselves to the arrival window we give you.
How do I book my move?
We secure your moving date and time with a deposit, which is applied to your final bill. All deposits are non refundable, but they may be applied to future moves or scheduling changes if needed. You then receive a confirmation email verifying your moving information.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash or credit card payments, but we do not accept personal checks. Payment is due when the bill is completed, and gratuity is optional.
Do you provide storage?
Yes. Short term and long term storage is available in a climate controlled, video surveilled facility, and access is limited to employees.
