It's Your Move is a locally and family-owned moving company based on Hannon Mill Road in Tallahassee, Florida. The company is the passion project of founder and CEO Jason Tereska, who spent more than 15 years in the moving industry before starting out in 2019 with a used truck and a trailer, and it took its current form in 2021 as delivery customers began asking to be moved. Services cover local, residential, commercial, apartment and in-state moving, along with senior moves, student moves near FSU and FAMU, piano moving, packing, packing supplies, storage, junk removal and labor-only help. What the company points to as its difference is the Pre-Prep Service: one to two days before the scheduled move, a member of the leadership team visits the home to pad-wrap furniture, disassemble items and review the full scope of the job, which, depending on the scope of the move, may allow an hourly estimate to become a flat-rate quote. Estimates are free and carry no obligation, and the team states there are no hidden fees or surprise charges. It's Your Move is licensed and insured under Fla. Mover Reg No. 3497 and USDOT #4000894, and it handles in-state work only, so both the origin and the destination must be within Florida.
