Landmark Pest Management
Landmark Pest Management is a woman-owned, science-based pest control firm serving Chicago and the surrounding counties. It is the insect and rodent control division of ABC Humane Wildlife Control & Prevention, Inc., which was founded in 1976 by a wildlife biologist and continues to be operated by biologists, epidemiologists, and other scientists. The team specializes in Integrated Pest Management, using scientific data, field research, and the biology of pest species to control insects and rodents with the least possible harm to the environment or human health. Work covers ants, bed bugs, cockroaches, fleas, mosquitoes, ticks, stinging insects, mice, and rats, along with humane wildlife removal, mouse exclusion, and animal proofing that seals pests out rather than relying on pesticides. Homes, businesses, and municipalities are all served across the region, and an on-call ABC Wildlife biologist can be reached 24 hours a day, seven days a week for wildlife and stinging insect emergencies.

What is the Complete Home Care program?
Complete Home Care is a year-round program that proactively protects a home from more than 40 common species. It includes methods approved for use in homes with children and pets, expert quarterly inspections and treatments, indoor treatment for insects and mice, an outdoor crawling insect barrier, proactive stinging insect nest prevention, indoor and outdoor spider web removal, a mouse monitoring system, and a complimentary mouse exclusion inspection.
Is your pest control environmentally friendly?
Yes. Landmark is a green pest control provider that specializes in Integrated Pest Management. Pesticides are never the first line of treatment. The team removes access to food, water, warmth, and harborage and seals gaps, cracks, and crevices first, and applies a product only after every other economically feasible option has been used.
Do you work with businesses and municipalities?
Yes. Landmark serves restaurants, grocery stores, food manufacturers and food processors, USDA-inspected facilities, commercial buildings, and malls, as well as government agencies, school districts, private schools, airports, museums, and hospitals.
Can you help keep mice from coming back?
Yes. Landmark is a pest exclusion company as well as a pest control company. The team inspects to determine how mice are entering the home, then uses proprietary techniques and rodent-proof materials to seal mice out, along with animal proofing for attics and for spaces beneath decks, porches, stoops, and sheds.
