How long have you been in business?

Do you use subcontractors?
No. Red Line Painting is a 100% employee based company and does all of its work in house. All employees undergo safety training, quality and technique training, full background checks, and are covered under the company workers compensation policy.
Are you insured?
Yes. Red Line Painting is fully insured, carrying full general liability, workers compensation, an umbrella policy, and auto insurance. If your building requires being listed as additionally insured, the office can send over the insurance certificate.
What are your standard working hours?
Standard hours are 8 to 5, Monday through Friday. Dedicated after hours or weekend work can be requested at an additional charge, subject to availability. If a project is delayed by rain during the week, the team may ask to work over the weekend.
What payment methods do you accept?
Red Line Painting accepts checks, ACH transfers, and all major credit cards. A 3.5% service charge is added to any credit card payment.
Do you require a deposit?
Payment structure varies by project and a detailed payment plan is given before work starts. Traditionally a 10% deposit is required with the balance due upon completion. Additional amounts may be required for material heavy projects, projects requiring equipment rental, or where progress payments are part of the contract.
Is there a warranty on the work?
Yes. The type of coverage and its length vary based on the project and are indicated on the contract, and walked on surfaces carry a different warranty than non walked on surfaces. Manufacturer warranty on the product can also be arranged.

Red Line Painting serves all of Chicago's 606 zip codes with a primary focus on neighborhoods within city limits. The core service territory is bounded by Harlem Avenue to the west, I-55 to the south, and Lake Michigan to the east. For medium to larger projects, generally $10,000 and above, service extends to nearby suburbs including Oak Park, Forest Park, Niles, Skokie, and Evanston.
