Are you insured?
Yes. Greenworks Painting is fully insured and carries Worker's Compensation insurance. If one of the workers were injured on your property, that coverage would cover most, if not all, of the medical expenses. Greenworks recommends always requesting a Worker's Compensation certificate before hiring any painting contractor.
What preparation is included with a job?
Standard preparation is included with every job and is pre-written on every interior proposal. Interior projects begin by protecting your furniture, belongings, and floors with plastic and drop cloths, and red rosin paper may be used to further protect delicate flooring when needed. Exterior projects begin with an evaluation of the project for safety measures, then all non-painted and non-stained surfaces are protected from paint splatters and debris, with extra care taken around landscaping and concrete.
Do you use low odor or low V.O.C. paint?
Yes. Greenworks Painting uses green products whenever possible, including top quality zero and low V.O.C. products. One of the most common low odor and low V.O.C. products used is Benjamin Moore Ultra Spec, which also provides mildew resistance and excellent durability. Indoor air purifiers are used when necessary or upon request, and microbicidal paint from Sherwin Williams is now offered.
Do you have any current deals?
Yes. On projects where Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams paints are specified, all paint is purchased at cost with zero mark-up, which is typically a saving of 25% to 50%. That offer runs through 12/31/2026. The website also advertises a $750 per room special, valid to 8/30/2026, that prepares and paints all walls with two coats of Benjamin Moore Zero V.O.C. paint included, for a standard room up to 14 feet by 14 feet or 200 total square feet with a ceiling height no higher than 10 feet. It does not include closets or any surfaces other than walls.
