How far in advance should I book my move?
We recommend booking at least 2 to 4 weeks in advance, especially during peak moving season from May to September and on weekends. Last-minute and emergency moves are offered when availability allows, but booking early gives you the best selection of time slots.
What is included in your moving service?
Full-service moves include professional movers, a moving truck, furniture pads, moving blankets, shrink wrap, dollies, straps, and the equipment needed to protect your belongings. We handle loading, transportation, and unloading. Labor-only service is available if you already have your own truck.
Do you provide a Certificate of Insurance for my building?
Yes. Many Chicago high-rises and condo buildings require a Certificate of Insurance before movers can start. We provide COIs to building management on request at no additional charge, and we coordinate with building staff on elevator reservations and loading dock access.
Do you charge extra for stairs or elevators?
Stairs and elevator access are factored into your initial quote when you provide details about your move. We ask about stairs and floors during booking so the estimate is accurate, and there are no hidden fees. What is quoted is what you pay.
Do you move pianos and other specialty items?
Yes. We move pianos, safes, pool tables, and large appliances, along with gym equipment, antiques, and artwork. Let us know about any specialty items when you book so the crew brings the right equipment and plans accordingly.
Do you offer same-day or emergency moving?
