The Animal Health Center is the full-service veterinary hospital of the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that opened the hospital in 2012 to give Tampa Bay pet owners affordable options for their pets. Care ranges from routine vaccinations and wellness checks to diagnostics, spay and neuter, and special surgeries. It is Florida's first nonprofit animal hospital to earn accreditation from the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), and any proceeds from the hospital benefit the mission and programs of the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
