The practice covers general and routine dentistry including exams, cleanings, digital X-rays, 3D digital intraoral scans, sealants, fluoride treatment, oral cancer screening, white composite fillings, deep cleanings for gum disease, root canal treatment, extractions, TMJ treatment, sleep apnea appliances and pediatric dental care. Restorative and cosmetic work includes dental implants, All-on-4 implant supported dentures, crowns, bridges, dentures, full mouth reconstruction, porcelain veneers, Lumineers, Snap on Smile, teeth whitening and dental bonding, while orthodontic options cover Invisalign and Candid Pro clear aligners plus Fastbraces. The team is led by Dr. Ziyad Maali, an Orlando native and University of Florida College of Dentistry graduate, alongside Dr. Christine Monir, Dr. Eden and Dr. Michael Williams. Sand Lake Dental accepts most traditional insurance plans, offers CareCredit and Sunbit financing, and runs an in-house membership plan for patients without dental insurance.

FAQs
Do you accept dental insurance?
Yes. We accept most traditional insurance plans, and our team handles insurance coordination directly with clear cost breakdowns before treatment. Contact our office at (407) 355-0608 so we can verify acceptance of your specific plan.
What if I do not have dental insurance?
We offer an in-house membership plan. The Standard Wellness Plan for ages 13 and over is $39 a month or $390 a year, the Basic Member Plan is $25 a month or $250 a year, the Perio Maintenance Plan is $49 a month or $490 a year, and the Child Wellness Plan for ages 13 and under is $15 a month or $150 a year. Family discounts run 15 percent off with 2 family members, 17 percent with 3, and 20 percent with 4 or more. Plans paid monthly carry a one time, non refundable setup fee equal to 15 percent of the annual commitment.
Do you offer emergency dental services?
Yes. Our practice maintains daily emergency slots and offers clear handling protocols for after-hours concerns, including specific guidance for managing urgent situations until you reach the office. We provide same day treatment when possible for toothaches, root canals and extractions.
What are your office hours?
Our Orlando office is open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Thursday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. We are closed Saturday and Sunday.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept checks, cash, credit cards and most insurance plans. We have also partnered with CareCredit and Sunbit to offer financing options for certain dental procedures.
Do I need to arrive early for my first appointment?
Yes. Please arrive at least 10 to 15 minutes early so you can fill out any patient forms before your visit begins.
How often should I schedule dental checkups?
We typically recommend six month intervals for optimal oral health, though your specific needs may call for a different schedule. Our dentist assesses your dental history, current health and risk factors to set a preventive care timeline that fits you.
