Are quotes free?
For the vast majority of jobs, yes, quotes are totally free. Some projects, especially commercial ones, may require a more detailed quoting process, and in some cases Picazzo will charge $25 for a complicated commercial quote. Same-day quotes are also available.
How do I get an estimate?
You can fill out the online form or call (305) 796-2443. If you fill out the form you can expect someone from the team to get back to you within 24 hours, and if you submit a quote request before 5 pm EST you can expect a call back the same day.
What happens during an estimate?
The team does a complete walkthrough of the project, checks for damage and necessary repairs, evaluates the surface area to be painted and answers your questions. Immediately after, they run the numbers and give you a final price based on the scope of work and material costs. Depending on the size of the project, you can expect your quote within 1 to 7 days.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Picazzo's license number is 04BS00058, and the company states it is insured up to $5m in liability insurance, including over a million in actual property damage insurance.
Is your work guaranteed?
Yes. Every project is covered by a 5 year workmanship warranty. The company states the warranty covers paint peeling, blistering paint, cracking paint, excessive chalking and flaking paint, and warranty paperwork is delivered after a final walkthrough.
Do you use sub-contractors?
No. Picazzo states that it never uses sub-contractors and that each of its painters is trained in-house to follow the company's standards and protocols.
What paint do you use?
Sherwin Williams is the usual supplier. Common choices are SuperPaint flat or satin for residential interiors, ProMar 200 Zero VOC for commercial interiors, and SuperPaint or A-100 for exteriors. The company will also use whatever paint you prefer.
