Samco Plumbing Inc
Samco Plumbing Inc was established in September of 1991 by Sam and Susan Garber and began as a one truck operation with Sam as the only plumber. The company incorporated in October of 1994, operated out of three storage units on Highway 98 North, and in October 1998 moved to its 6,500 square foot office and showroom on Progress Drive off Dranefield Road in Lakeland. Samco started strictly as a new construction company and added a service operation in November of 1998. The team handles water heaters including tankless models, drain cleaning and drain repair, hydrojetting, clogged toilets, sewer line repairs and installation, repiping, water and gas line work, leak detection, slab leaks, sump pumps, garbage disposals, faucets and fixtures, showers and tubs, water softeners and filtration, bathroom remodeling, and commercial plumbing. Samco says it has been the plumber of record for more than 2,500 homes in the Polk County area, and it offers upfront "No Mystery" pricing so customers know the cost before work begins. In 2021 Sam handed the company to his son Brett, who is now president and also serves as President of the Florida Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors Association.
