Dedge's Lock & Key Shop, Inc. is a family owned and operated locksmith and security company that has served Northeast Florida from its Jacksonville store since the Dedge family opened the doors on February 14, 1966. The shop covers residential and commercial work, including lock installation and repair, rekeying, deadbolt installation, mortise lock repair, hardware replacement, key cutting and duplicate keys, automotive keys and remote programming, master key systems, electronic and card access control, CCTV installation, and antique lock repair. Dedge's is a Medeco Security Center and a premier dealer of Hayman Safes, selling, servicing, and installing fire safes, gun safes, depositories, and personal safes from a large showroom. Its fully certified and bonded security technicians average 25 years of experience, and 24-hour emergency service is available.

Can you make car keys and program remotes?
Yes. Dedge's copies automobile keys and programs remotes for most makes and models, and the store handles car laser remotes on site.
Can you repair an antique lock?
Yes. Dedge's has provided antique lock repair in Northeast Florida for over 50 years and keeps a large in-house stock of antique keys. In most cases the lock is sent to the shop, an estimate is provided before any work begins, and the return of your lock is guaranteed whether or not it can be repaired.
What are your store hours?
The Jacksonville store on Lenox Avenue is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is closed Saturday and Sunday.
