Sergeant T's Tree Service
Sergeant T's Tree Service is a veteran owned and operated tree care company based at 2928 Edgehill Ln in Hollywood, FL, providing tree services to Broward communities. The company is licensed and insured and works under license B 1574. Its core work covers tree trimming and tree pruning, tree removal, tree felling and sectional removals, stump grinding, and root removal with wood chipping, and the wider service list adds tree planting, tree maintenance, arborist services, land and lot clearing, brush removal, shrub and bush trimming, mulching, tree cabling and bracing, tree inspection, and hazard tree assessment. Removal work starts with an assessment of the tree's condition, size, and location, followed by safety preparation to protect surrounding property, careful execution with the right equipment, and thorough cleanup and disposal of debris. Stumps are ground below ground level to stop regrowth and remove tripping hazards, with optional removal of large intrusive roots and the choice to keep the chips as mulch. Emergency tree services and storm damage cleanup are available when a hurricane or high winds bring trees and limbs down. Alongside residential tree service, the company works for businesses, HOAs, condo associations, schools and universities, healthcare facilities, municipal parks and public spaces, and real estate developers across Broward County, with tailored care plans built around each property type.
Services
Tree trimming
Trimming removes dead or diseased branches so trees grow stronger, improves curb appeal, and reduces the risk of storm damage from weak or overhanging limbs.
Tree pruning
Pruning follows an assessment of each tree's health and structure, then a tailored plan based on the type, size, and condition of the tree.
Tree removal
Removal covers dead or dying trees, storm damaged trees, obstructive growth near structures and utility lines, and trees whose roots threaten foundations or sidewalks.
Tree felling and sectional removals
Straightforward felling and complex sectional removals are both handled, with safety preparation to protect surrounding property.
Stump grinding
A stump grinder reduces the stump to below ground level to prevent regrowth, remove tripping hazards, and discourage pests such as termites, ants, and beetles.

The company is based at 2928 Edgehill Ln in Hollywood, FL and provides tree services to Broward communities, including commercial work across Broward County.
When does a tree need to be removed?
Common reasons are a tree with significant deadwood or disease that becomes a hazard in storms, storm damage too severe for the tree to be saved, growth too close to structures, utility lines, or sidewalks, and invasive roots damaging foundations, sidewalks, or underground utilities.
What happens during a tree removal?
The crew assesses the tree's condition, size, and location and plans a safe removal, takes precautions to protect surrounding property, carries out the removal with the right equipment, and then provides thorough cleanup and disposal so the property is left clear of debris.
How does stump grinding work?
A stump grinder reduces the stump to wood chips and takes it below ground level, which prevents regrowth, removes a tripping hazard, and discourages pests such as termites, ants, and beetles. The area is cleaned afterward, large intrusive roots can be removed as an option, and the chips can be repurposed as mulch.
